The tender of the Provincial Directorate, held through EKAP, was the first tender participated by BIOTED Economic Enterprise, which was established in August 2023. Providing information about the work, BIOTED Chairman Yağız Süzen stated that BIOTED Enterprise will offer the works subject to the tender together with consultancy services and said, “We plan for BIOTED Economic Enterprise to be a reliable product and service supplier. Of course, it will not compete with industry companies; However, by organizing its members, as in the tender of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it will be able to participate in tenders to provide single-source supply in similar projects. Our company also provides training services in the field of biological and biotechnical control. However, its main activity is scientific trial work. Both our business enterprise and our General Secretary Prof. Dr. İsmail Karaca has an authorization certificate to conduct license-based tests. Apart from this, it also conducts activity, counting/measurement and control trials that are not required for a license. Both our business enterprise and our association are the common values of our industry. In this respect, they both offer a reliable service that maintains the same distance to all stakeholders. We also have various projects that we plan to carry out. We will hear the name BIOTED more in the near future regarding biological control.”
